Cocktails in Liverpool - Recent Experiences?
Hi Everyone
A couple of friends and I are venturing out for a bottomless brunch in Hanover street tomorrow. We’re wanting to go a couple of places afterwards for some cocktails - nothing too expensive/fancy/posh before heading home. It was very much pre-pandemic last time I went day drinking in Liverpool, so I’m definitely out of touch with what is still open and stuff. Has anyone been recently that can offer any suggestions? Only one we can come up with is to head to the upstairs of L1! Thanks in Advance Gill

A colleague of mine went to the Alchemist earlier this week. The cocktails looked fab 😁

Thanks Judy!
I’ve just been looking at their menu, and it looks lovely. Very pricey though, so it feels like it might be a waste for just girls day drinking. I’m adding it to the list of possible venues anyway though ha ha

There is a roof bar on top of India buildings as well. Younger DS said he went after work one day, that sounded a bit pricey though, guess you are paying for a view

Thanks, I’ll have a look now. So long as it’s not “datey” if that makes sense, it may be fine x

Oh I’m heading to Liverpool next week, very interested in this, I have noticed that most chain bars are bogof on cocktails, revolution, slug and lettuce etc

DD went to Papillon for lunch and cocktails a couple of weeks ago. She said it was lovely.

Slug and Lettuce is 2 for 1 of the same drink, not been to the Liverpool one we have been to the one in Chester and I liked it
spccs1/menus/S&L%2...mpressed .pdf There is also a cocktail bar in a warehouse type building that a few people my daughter knows have been to, I don’t think you have to book which is an advantage but I can’t remember the name of it |
