For those who've mentioned custom plans, are you referring to creating a personalised plan on touring plans?

Yes I created my own personalised one using the software.

Another Touring Plans fan here. Use it for both Disney and Universal, as I like to get a good idea of if I can fit what we want to do into our park days. Plus I generally just like to be well organised. I like how you can use your plan as a tick list of what you've done on the day, and then add/remove stuff on the fly and get it to replan. I think you could easily get away with not using Touring Plan for Universal, especially if it's a quiet day or you've got express passes.

Well worth spending the money on Touring Plans. I did it for two trips. Used customised plans and it gave lots of helpful tips.

I used it previously to check out the best rooms to book in the resort and it alerted me when a dining space opened up at fully booked Ohana. Will definitely used it for my next trip

Love touring plans, used on our last 3 trips and near enough spot on with queue times.

Used for Disney as stay at RPR in universal so don’t really need to plan using express passes.
