Day 22
Quick one tonight!
Rest of the wall and the acros out. Battening done across ceiling joists and around beams to have something to put the dry wall onto and even out the ceiling where different sizes have been used!

Day 23 &24
Long day yesterday with membrane and studs on wall. Another long one today to get floor ready for the screeding!

Pleased with how it is looking from outside too, will need to start thinking about what to do with the flowerbed in front of the doors!

Thank you, not sure yet We want to keep the camelia and magnolia as they make a nice frame for the garden, but obviously not the log store - a strong breeze would blow it over anyway! Probably not decking as it is north facing, the patio gets slippery already! So many decisions to make

Day 25

They were here until nearly 8 last night finishing the floor insulation. We are now just waiting for the screed people to show up. Will post some photos when it is done.

Day 25 update - screed lorry broke down😫 we are first job tomorrow. We have been so lucky, this is the first delay, just feel sorry for the builders doing such a long day yesterday!
