Strange idea, but is it feasible?
I have a work colleague who is planning a solo trip to Orlando and is planning on a strange idea to get 3 extra fast passes a day in DW.
They hate queuing and would rather get more rides done and walk around the parks. So the plan is to buy two ultimate tickets. Each day enter the park and either do a few rides or spend a short time in the park and then leave. You dont swipe your ticket when you leave a park so Disney dont know you left. They would then re enter on the second ticket. This means they have 2 activated park tickets, both with FPs. One person pointed out this is a waste of £450, but they said they plan to go to each park twice, or even more if they just do half days in the parks, so isnt that much for the extra time spent not queuing. The idea how weird, actually sounds feasible. Of course once restrictions are lifted and if FP come back the same.

I'm guessing you would have to have 2 mde accounts to book your fast passes in different names, and I sure wouldn't waste £450 just so I didnt have to queue.

Why would they not just buy one ticket, use their 3 fast passes and then book them one by one afterwards? £450 for an extra 3 rides isn't worth surely

Seems like an expensive faff to me but if that’s how they want to spend their hard earned $$$...

Absolutely no reason why it would not be feasible, they would need to set up two MDE accounts I would think.
The bit that is weird to me is that they say they plan to go to each park twice. Only twice each park, whilst buying effectively 28 days worth of tickets is the biggest waste. If they were going every day for 14 days and wanted to do the headline Tier 1 rides multiple times, then I could understand better. |

Would they be better off booking at concierge level at a deluxe hotel and get one pass and the extra fast passes that way. I’m sure I remember reading a trippie this was mentioned. The lass whose husband works in high level football ? Princess something ?
Again though it depends when, if and how FP returns. Edited at 09:30 AM. |

If that were me and money clearly not an issue I’d book a vip day.

We have had the extra fastpasses whilst staying concierge level, you need to pay for them and it is $50 per day for a minimum of three days. It is good because the fast passes are unlimited (meaning no tier restrictions, although you cannot book the same ride twice) and also you can book the purchased fastpasses plus the three normal fastpasses that day at 90 days from checkout day. But it would be a lot more expensive than buying the extra ticket.

I tend to find it’s feasible to book extra fast passes on the day dependent on the time of year you go, once you’ve used your initial 3. I have got on the day fast passes for all of the headliners before, even FOP.
I wouldn’t pay that much extra to pre book an extra 3 fast passes that I’d probably be able to get spontaneously on the day across my holiday (which would also mean you’re not stuck to timings booked months in advance for 6 fast passes per day, it is nice to get the 3 out of the way early so you can pick more I find!).

Only 1 person pointed out that this was a waste of money? Strange workplace, I would have been laughed out of the canteen! Seriously, it's basically throwing away £450 & I'm really struggling to see the benefit? Even on half days, get to park early, time FP for after first hour or 2 & I don't think that you would miss many headliners & you are not getting on Rise with a Fastpass anyway no matter how many tickets you have! Might be moot anyway if paid for Fastpass rumours are true!
I think if I was going to spend £900, I'd get an AP & at least persuade myself that the discounts etc are worth it! SD
