Mobile We are having a Florida theme park food night tonight!

To help us along until we can get back to the parks we're having a Florida theme park food night tonight. We love watching Tim Tracker eat all the delicious park food and get jealous so instead of our usual Saturday takeaway we are having (drum roll please):
Corn dogs (from Tesco but look good)
Pretzels - home made
Cheeseburger egg rolls / spring rolls (however you say it) - home made
And Cheese dogs - home made with some squeeze cheese I sourced on Amazon, which will also be good for dipping the pretzels in

Followed by:
Chocolate filled churros - again frozen from Tesco
Chocolate covered strawberries - home made and unfortunately not as big as the gorgeous ones in the parks / Disney springs but still good.
Home made dole whips (had some of these in the freezer for a while - very easy to make)

We are all a bit excited :-) We will obviously be sampling all this - not eating a huge plateful of each, or we won't be able to move! Might need a long walk tomorrow...

What's your fave thing to recreate at home?

How lovely, sounds delicious! We have recreated Spain today as we are drinking wine and eating tapas in the garden, but I do love an American night with slow cooker pulled pork, nachos, and key lime cheesecake!

Enjoy!

We do the Fairfax Fare salad from HS.

Pulled pork, roasted sweetcorn , cheese, crispy fried tortilla strips salsa, bacon and a spicy ranch dressing all served over half an iceberg lettuce... deeeelish, and our go to meal there.

Great for an alternative (or addition) to BBQ in the summer.

We usually follow it with buttered popcorn (and a movie) for the authentic smell of MK...

Mickeys kitchen sink. We have the base container from mk and love recreating it.
Also tried doing funnel cake which was delicious but not as good as the real thing.

I agree most of it isn't as good as the real thing - but more because you're not actually there with the lovely sunshine and the lovely Florida smells.
I forgot about drinks - could have recreated the 'jungle juice' they serve with the character breakfast. One for next time!

Sounds like a fab night ahead. We like to make Cinnabon rolls, key lime pie and churros. Also done some recipes from The Grand Floridian eg strawberry soup.
Haven’t had a Disney night for a while you have motivated me to get one sorted
