I know it’s probably obvious but have just read that Disney will require face masks at this event and that Disney “expects guests to wear face masks for the rest of the year” this was DFB so take that as you will.

I think Disney throughout this have been setting expectations to worst case scenarios, with the idea that if things change then people will be pleased, but they don’t want to overpromise and under deliver, wise move I’d say 👍

Yeah I thought it was pretty obvious that masks would be in place at least for the rest of this year but who knows.
I know I’ll be wearing one in Disneyland if we get to go this year but so be it.

I don’t know if it means anything but apparently Disney have been advertising job vacancies for seasonal fireworks CMs so it could be that they’re hoping to bring them back soon but maybe don’t want to promise anything in case it can’t go ahead!

How do these events affect crowd levels during the day? We won’t be staying for the Boo Bash and are quite happy to leave at 7pm when it gets busy, but if it’s going to be busy all day should I make sure our MK days avoid it? Or is it the other way round and everyone avoids those days making it quieter?

If it’s like MNSSHP then during the party days apparently it’s fairly quiet and a good day to go. Non party days are busier. I’ve no experience of this but going by what I’ve read.
