We had one in 2018 next to the reef. It felt like such a treat, having our own space to go back to in the shade, a well stocked fridge and chest of treats, locker etc. I was worried about the August heat as we'd only been in February before and my eldest is very fair skinned. The area was lovely and my youngest really took to snorkelling so we spent quite a lot of the day there or close by. My eldest enjoyed chilling in the Cabana and watching us from there when he needed some shade. We did the dolphin swim so the Elite package we booked didn't seem too expensive when we took the cost of the photo package into account.

Do you mean Discovery Cove or Volcano Bay - because you can rent cabanas at both.

We had a DC Cabana and totally loved it. We had an attendant who made sure everything was tidy and that our drinks and snacks were regularly topped up. We were there in August and it was great to have somewhere cool and covered to relax and escape the heat. We would definitely do it again!

We always have one at discovery cove they used to be huge but they’ve made them smaller so they can provide more, still enjoy having one though, as I feel more enclosed with having small children in the party.

When are you going?
We had one on new years day a few years ago. It was lovely but because of the time of year it was chilly in the shade when wet out of the pool so we wanted to be in the sun not in the cabana. If it was summer I'd deffinately get one again but not in winter. |
