Backpack for August?

Hi,
Can anyone suggest a backpack suitable for use in the parks during the heat/rain of August?
It doesn't need to be huge (but I'll probably be DH carrying it mostly) but we'll need to carry water, sun cream and other small paraphernalia for a day in the parks with kids.
Thanks

Hi, we use the small back packs from decathlon, we find them perfect, the really small ones are approx £4 and the slightly larger ones are around £7 we have the slightly larger one and put water, suncream, flip flops and rain poncho,s in, used it the last 4 or 5 trips and still going strong, ps decathlon do fab ponchos also.

I also bought ones from Decathlon last time. As they were made for outdoors they hold up well in all weather.

I've got a loungefly Donald Duck backpack, which is a nylon material and withstands the rain.

I have some of the Decathlon ones as recommended by the lovely DIBBers on here - they're fab & lightweight but hold enough.
