Memory maker

We booked 3 rooms to accommodate the whole family so we will have 3 memory makers. Is it necessary to use all 3? we are one big family so I’m assuming we only actually needed one or is there a need or advantage to use all 3?

If your party splits up for whatever reason, then photopasses can still be used. Also ride photos will be linked to your room.

The memory maker is free with the tickets, not the room. So everyone will have it.

You actually get Memory Maker per adult ticket, not per room. All offsite guests with UK Ultimate tickets get Memory Maker as well.

Memory Maker is just the ability to download and keep the photos in your Photopass account. You can share a Photopass account amongst several people. You can share Photopass photos with everyone linked to your Disney account. I think nowadays Photopass account and MDE/Disney account are one and the same.

Technically, you only need one Memory Maker to download all the photos in a Photopass/MDE account. For the Memory Maker you get free with the Disney tickets, these automatically activate as soon as you start using the tickets. Note, however, the photos go into the person's Photopass/MDE account - there is no separate Memory Maker account.

Perhaps a handy tip for using MM, depending on how you want to organise your holiday photos……

Although I downloaded our photos each day (so I was sure I wouldn’t lose any if there were issues later), I put them all in one folder.

But this meant that when we returned, I had over 1800 photos (from MM, but also our own phones) but in no order at all. I then spent hours putting the photos into separate folders (eg. MK, Epcot, etc.).

My tip….download daily, and have separate folders ready to put them into. Saves so much time later.
