Why are people just so damn greedy ?

Popped early to Lidls today to see if I could get some Jerk Chicken Drumsticks as its Caribbean week.

We arrived early at 7.55 and there were a few in the queue. Soon as the doors opened a man rushed in and took ALL the Tomahawk Steaks that were also in the Caribbean week. I mean everyone, not a box left. Honestly he did not leave one.

Granted, I didn't want any... but I just thought how selfish.

Maybe just me...

No it’s just selfish and pure greed. Should limit them to a few per Customer

That's what we said, but I suppose if they did that he would just bring other members of his family. The thing is Col, its Sirloin with a bone in... if I am right. You can get 2 for £7 in Asda, its not like they are selling it dirt cheap.

Now Handbags...……

Probably a restaurant owner and the Lidl price was much lower than his usual supplier.

I used to work for a major supermarket in a market town and every market day we would sell much more fresh veg than otherdays as the veg stall holder used us as their supplier. I used to find it quite amusing to read on Facebook how fresh the veg was from this stall compared to the veg sold by the supermarket!

Tesco do 2 for £7 as well as Asda 🤩
What a selfish greedy man he is 🤬
Maybe he’s been on a diet for a while, I think I would’ve said something to him, I’m especially getting fed up with mask wearers having them on their neck chin etc 🙄😷
The store should put limits on special deals

They probably had plenty more out back to restock but it’s down to the stores if they limit special offers to a certain number per customer , if enough people complained they would but most people will have a moan on social media instead.

The Tomahawk steaks were not even much of a bargain. What’s this obsession with them, people queuing to buy them? They have them in Costco.

Quite agree Yorkshire T , it’s only a single bone fore rib of beef trimmed , if you don’t cooked it correct it could be as tuff as old boots . 😅😂 Morrison’s had fresh ones for £15:00 each today ( Father’s Day )

A reverse sear on these is the only way to go I think.
