Not ruling out Winter lockdowns!

I seriously hope this is the media, being their normal nuisance selves! My heart has well and truly sunk reading that this afternoon - is there going to be an end to any of this?

Well you know how it is... the great British public will just have a poll saying 66% support Government actions... so it will be the usual British shrug of the shoulders and get on with twitching of curtains yet again... for 3 or 4 months... it's the new norm

That's a mis-representing snippet.

They have said they cannot rule out lockdowns over the winter if there was a resurgence that got out of control. They stated they hoped it was not something that would be required and that they are still trying to come out of lockdown once and for all in a controlled manner.

This is the sort of thing that gives the wrong message and gives people false ammunition to then pile in on top of.

I’ve always thought that lockdowns will be back by this winter.
Despite being told categorically on here that won’t be the case and the last lockdown will ‘definitely be the last’. How anyone can be so certain of that with this absolute sham of a government, is beyond me.

They already have "detailed plans" for winter lockdown, it was discussed in parliament last week 😣

Not shocked but still makes me sick in the pit of my stomach.
Please no one come along and say ‘these will be worst case scenarios plans’. All the plans they have made they have made damn sure played out to a T.

The thought of being in lockdown again for another Winter makes me genuinely sick to my stomach. It would be political suicide as well and I genuinely don't think the majority of people would stand for it.
