I know what you mean but...It's not really gift wrapping though, which I've selected previously and that was sent as a gift and was wrapped as of a present - so not an Amazon box.

I think I'll contact them and see what they say.

Yys regularly - today I had a Dyson tower fan thing arrive - in its box with a sticker on. Fine by me as less wastage and there is a paper and cardboard shortage in UK (I heard on the wireless today) due to amount of deliveries and people sorting boxes in attic and garages

My Son has ordered 2 Shark Vacuums in the Prime Sale. One for him and one for a Relative

I will update tomorrow but I lay money they arrive in the original Shark box.

Well I've just spoken to a very helpful lady who understood my concerns and has provided a discount.

I said great, albeit it's not really about the money here more the fact that I'd prefer to have recovered a discreetly packaged item!

But she said she'd pass on those comments!

Interestingly - She did not say that I'd missed an option to have packaging and she would have assumed it should have had a box.

I'll be checking more carefully for future orders. But can't fault the customer services.

It wouldn't normally worry me either it's just the particular nature of this item that really should have been wrapped. But yes. On the whole I'm all for less packaging. I did make that point to the lady on the phone that it was just the nature of the item

I’ve had quite a lot of items arrive with just address label on manufactures packaging. It does usually tell you before you confirm your order - it is quite small writing so could easily be missed.

It's not happened to me before which is why I was surprised. But all dealt with now :-)
