we generally follow two trends. Sandwich or filling.
Sandwich days are early rises, eat in room, rope drop and go back to hotel around 11 or 12. Sleep or nap and pool until 5pm then eat a bigger meal and head back into the park until closing. Typically this is what we do on low crowd days as we can easily pack all the rides in a short time. Some days we watch the show, others we join headliners at the close of park so we get that "im the only one left" feeling when we are leaving (plus no queues to get out) Filling days we get up late, have a nice breakfast (topolinos etc), shop, watch parades, maybe waterpark generally we dont do many rides on these days (we tend to go in summer months so the heat is oppressive at these times dictating a very slow pace). Evenings tend to be a nicer TS (maybe offsite even) with an early night. These are usually the weekend days or the comparatively higher crowd days. we always have a plan for each park. This stops us mindlessly wandering around - this saps your strength. In summer months, if you use TP then crank the walking speed to the lowest :-) Edited at 10:32 AM. |

I'm loving this explanation.. sandwich or filling 🤣🤣.
I never thought of planning what we are actually doing in the parks! Sounds like a great idea. |

its what we used to ask the kids in the morning "how are your feet doing? Sandwich or filling?". Nowadays it is my knees are ligaments that dictate, the kids are off in the distance...
