Wedding night hotels

Hi, we are looking for a hotel/lodge or somewhere to stay on our wedding night. I feel like it should be something special although we wont be there until after 1am and probably be a bit too drunk to appreciate it.

I just dont feel like going home after such a (hopefully) amazing day it would feel like quite an anti-climax.

What is everyone else doing? Where do I look for something fancier?

Wedding is in Nottinghamshire

I feel a little bit like that with our venue, theres only 8 bedrooms so we are having to be really strict with only letting mine and the wife's family stay, all our friends have to be sent off to another hotel! Feels a bit mean lol.

What about staying somewhere for 2 nights then you actually get chance to enjoy it? Any swish hotels nearby have nice suites with a big bath tub? X
