Tokyo Disneyland is on another level. That’s because it’s run by the Tokyo Land Company and bizarrely the CEO seems to have more of the Disney delight the customer attitude than Disney itself does nowadays under Chapek.

Oriental Land Company. They are phenomenal at their business - running theme parks, much better than Disney themselves unfortunately.

I’ve avoided POV’s and spoilers for this ride for 2 years, hopefully next year I’ll finally see it!

I follow a guy on twitter who actually work at Tokyo Disney and he posted the following about what is not "right" there still yet:

•Annual passes / opening beyond 9pm
•Multi-day tickets
•park-hopping
•masklessness
•character-hugging
•Genie/Fastpass
•single-rider
•dancers in parades
•theater shows that don’t require winning a (hard to win) lottery

To be fair the OLC is mainly just following the govt restrictions in play over there, but have said they will not be brining park capacity back to previous levels to give guests a better experience. Not sure if that lower capacity is in short term or longer.
