Another great find was BJs Brewhouse, all loaded burgers on menu are $10 on a Wednesday with unlimited fries, black and blue burger, smokehouse, bacon and cheese etc, huge portions, nobody looked for more fries.
Kids menu was absolutely amazing, circa $7 and could add a second side for $1, $1 soda, $3 dessert as extras, was basically adult portions, 2 kids got Caesar salad to start and was le a main course on its own, one had boneless wings with fries and hot sauce, other had tenders and fries, would have been loads for me! Sometimes my 14 year old orders from the kids menu and we swap mains! It was $80 for 6 of us, 4 adults, 2 kids, included 25% tip. Next on list, down Tampa beaches side, was Cody's Roadhouse, basically Manny's menu, same style, KEF Mon and Tues, BOGOF Fajitas Wednesday, sweet yeast rolls and house salad with all mains etc. Went there yesterday for Early Bird menu, daily until 6pm, $95, 30% tip included. I love in Cody's that you can get black beans and rice or baked potato as a side, a welcome relief from fries. Edited at 03:41 PM. |

Home now and no real updates, other than to say to make sure to go to Aldi for your first stock up shop.
We went to Publix first night for water and coke etc, and stuck with Publix deli for hot food and subs, but bought all our water, cereal, bagels etc in Aldi going forward. Was much cheaper for staples such as bread, cheese, fruit etc. Publix can have good weekly offers, so I'd still go there but wouldn't do my main shop there. Krispy Kreme had lots of weekly offers worth a look, box of OG circa $6 on Wednesday, similar offer on a Tues or Thur evening, free coffee on a Monday. Edited at 04:12 PM. |
