So nice that you have had your first home resort stay. I really liked CC when I went to look around it for a DVC viewing. You did loads at HS, I’m so impressed. The food and drinks for today all look so nice as well, wonder if I should make a trip across to Geyser Point next vacation. I think this time I’ll do some ADRs.

I like your HS strategy and will hopefully be following suit if we can get the same done

Sounds an epic trip!

I don’t know how you manage all these cocktails (I don’t drink alcohol typically but still!)

Food choices so far are fab, those cookies looked yummy even if too big!

I hope you like your home

Sounds like an almost perfect day - apart from almost over dosing on cookies ☺️ Food at Geyser’s looks so nice!

So glad you had such a good experience at geyser point - the rough rider sounds amazing.

I love the num num cookie but they size of some Disney snacks always surprises me - like a full meal. The carrot cake cookie is the same!

Hope you’re loving WL - it is truly my fave resort

Sounds like you had an amazing day. A cookie num num each….that’s some snack 😂

Geyser Point looked lovely and nice that Kate came to eat and then went off and had some time to herself. Benefits of a bar in your resort with a teen.

I know it was ridiculous to have 3 cookies. Dave’s response was that I should have been clearer with my instructions. I explained to him that I want to try out a lot of snacks and the only way we will manage them is if we share as the portions are so big.

Loving it here so far. Geyser Point is a lounge so there is no need for a reservation. It's walk up only. It means it's going to be lovely and flexible for us. Our server said they are busier at the weekend, but midweek is less busy so if you're going to make a special trip to the resort perhaps try and time it for then.

I'd definitely recommend getting there early. The opening time for HS was 8.30, meaning early entry was 8am. The turnstiles opened around 7.20 and we didn't stop walking all the way to the front of the queue, we were off the ride before the park had even opened for early entry and so managed a walk on for Smugglers Run too.

At the moment we are still in that stage of having eyes bigger than our bellies and like little kids wanting everything! It's hard to believe we've only been here 2 days as we seem to have done so much. I hope the HS strategy works out for you!
