Best time for an October bargain….
Any thoughts as when the best time for a late deal is best to grab for October? Flights seem crazy expensive

I think that ship has sailed (or plane flown ?) bargains this year and sales I dont feel will happen as flights are already as full s they can permitted to be
Hoping next year returns to a somewhat state of normality (whatever that means ….) |

TUI have some flights in October for £449 each before luggage but if you are looking for school holidays "bargains" like we've seen before are unlikely.
I booked flights recently for late September with TUI for £349 but by the time you add on luggage, seat selection and car hire (DFCH) it's still £700 each which is more than I paid with BA 3 years ago. With BA booking now it would be over £1000 each with very long layover times at Heathrow so even with parking and hotel at Manchester TUI is cheaper. I normally book when flights come out but due to health issues had to wait but I'm just glad to be getting away and I managed to book a fab dibb villa too. Edited at 11:17 PM. |

I am no fan of packages…
But at the moment, I would most certainly be looking to a TUI package, if I did not already have other plans. There seem to be some great deals.

I remember seeing that too - unfortunately there were no premium seats left on our flight or the days either side. There are a few cracking deals if you can hold off to last minute and not be disappointed if it doesn't work out.
I remember many, many years ago getting a package for £196 each including car hire and accomodation for 2 weeks now that was a bargain and as my son was under 2 he went free! |

October isn’t usually a bargain month as school hols (Scotland and England)
If you want a bargain package early September and early May are good bet. |
