Recommend Taxi Hire From MLB to Disney

Hi

Can anyone recommend any friendly private taxi firms for Airport pick up and return?

About 10 years ago we used someone who was recommended on The Dibb - a really friendly guy who pretty much just did transfers!

Thanks

Have you considered UBER/Lyft? Don't know what the cost would likely be.

Cost is pretty easy to work out, OP says they're going in 54 days. So that's the 9th October, right?
  • Only flight from Manchester to MLB on the 9th lands at 17:10
  • Giving time to get bags back and faff around at immigration that's around 17:50-18:00
  • Reading OPs post history they were looking at Disney's Port Orleans Resort - French Quarter

So if I go on the Uber website and put a journey in for that date and time it comes up as around $80-100. Now that's not 100% accurate as you can't quite book it that far out yet. But two of those and you're nearly getting towards the cost of a hire car...

Nearer the time OP can go here: uber/global/en/price-estimate/ and check it.

Do another few journeys around locally to parks etc and although you've got to pay to park, it might just be worth hiring one, are at least comparing the prices.

Personally I'd probably spreadsheet it all out, work out how much costs compare to both and then pick an option.

Has anyone thought about 1 day car hire with Alamo and drop off at Disney Car Care centre in Magic kingdom the next day? Could be cheaper.

I just checked that, even for a smaller car its around £80-ish. And you'll have to pay a one-way fee.

To hire one for two weeks from MLB is around £800 now in October, as it's getting quite late in the day.
