Does the hotel part have elevators? I have seen somewhere it says none but it is 5 floors and I am panicking as my husband has dodgy knees. I have put in a room request for a lower floor but obviously they can't guarantee it.

We stayed there for 8 nights end of April/beginning of May this year, room was lovely and bright and clean with a nice balcony. There is building works going on just behind the hotel that you can hear but it didn’t bother us. We loved the location and being able to walk just across the road to Sunset Boulevard on a night for a meal and a drink without needing the car. I would stay there again definitely.

Avoid Miller’s. Worst meal ever here. DH’s meal came with freezing cold rice - can’t have been heated at all. Asked for it to be replaced and could the server take the whole meal and bring it back so that the salmon and veg didn’t go cold. He said no, he’d bring back some rice. DH explained again he didn’t want the rest of his food to go cold. Server came back with a small plate and asked DH to scrape his cold rice onto it. He then returned 5 minutes later with some hot rice. Surprisingly, the meal was cold.

If it wasn’t for the fact we had our kids with us we’d have got up and walked right out. Never known anything like it. Needless to say he didn’t get a tip and we didn’t pay for the meal (which DH only ate about 1/4 of anyway) but still makes me angry now how you can serve food that isn’t heated and refuse to replace the meal. Avoid!

Thanks for starting this thread. I had never considered staying here but have now had a look and think it seems great! Very tempted for next year, thank you! 🍹
