Mobile Today's purchases

So today DS had his birthday money burning a hole in his pocket so we decided to brave going in to town with him. He's has his eye in a couple of the big creator sets for a while so he came away and had a think about it over lunch.

Whilst DD and I went in to a lovely empty Primark, DH took DS back to the lego store to make his purchase and he chose

I was very pleased as whilst this isn't cheap I think it provides great £££ per brick value and I knew it would challenge him. He can also add to it over the years if he wants.

What I didn't know was whilst they were there they also bought me this as a surprise

They managed to keep it from me until we got home and put it on the kitchen table. When I walked in and saw it I cried. We've had a rubbish couple of days with 2 cancelled holidays and no sleep on my part so I was incredibly emotional. I can't wait to build it later in the summer.

Love assembly square, it’s a big set and so nice to build. The details are great, especially love the bakers.

May get Mickey and Minnie, it’s just feels very expensive. I’m undecided on this or tree ideas tree house before it retires this year.
Enjoy your building

My assembly square just turned up today too... Been on backorder since I ordered it in June! (yet in stock at my local store which wasn't open in June. Doh!)

I'm loving it so far. I'm having to hang back and let DS build it but I'm dying to get my hands on it 😀

The photo is a bit blurry but she has Harry Potter mini figures in the shops etc

I watch her doing them and literally have to stop myself from taking over

Assembly Square is now finished and I am blown away by it. Definitely good value for money with great detailing.
