Mash or no mash?

Now we always have roast potatoes and mashed potatoes on our Christmas dinner well with any roast dinner tbh! I always thought it was the norm until I met my snobby sister in law who informed me mash on a roast dinner is for common people 🙄

So who’s a commoner like me?

Ps. Said SIL is defo off the Xmas card list and has been for a good few years 😉

Both for us at Christmas. I don’t cook roasts much during the year but if I did, I probably wouldn’t do mash as well.

Roast potatoes and mash or Dauphinois potatoes for us. This year roasted and dauphinois. There’s always one snobby one in the family isn’t there lol 😂

We don’t bother with mash but only because we find it too much.

On a different note someone once told my grandmother that only common women wear headscarves and her answer was the Queen wears one so I assume you think she’s common 🤣
