Hash House top of I drive. Huge portions and some interesting menu items make this a bit different and worth the trip.
Mannys - the one down HWY 27 is a longer drive than the one on 192 but is far superior in terms of experience, atmos and food imo. Teak nr Universal is a great local bar that serves great burgers.

Sadly the Manny's on 192 closed a couple of years ago.
Only Haines, Winter Haven and Lake Wales open now. Mick

Thanks for the heads up Mick, we love Manny's was on our hit list when we go back. I'm sure we went to the one in Haines in 2019.. (is that the original one ?)

I'm not sure to be honest which of the remaining three was the original but they've all lasted the test of time.
There was one a couple of years back in the LBV area but that and the 192 were franchises - both unsuccessful ones it seems. The 192 one used to be Houlihans and is now Route 66 Roadhouse which is yet to receive any of our $$ Mick

We haven't been before (not as grown ups at least!) and pricing it up on site vs off site doesn't seem to be much different with everything factored in, I'm not sure what I'm doing wrong. Not helped by car hire prices and car parking charges, that seems to be what's tipping it over.

Never spent a single night in a WDW hotel nor been to a park since 2010 so only really qualified to talk about off site food. As I said earlier though I do have a very little experience of WDW eating and my wallet is still suffering.

Helen we usually ring ahead from Highgate Park which is a 20-25 minute drive but always have to wait a further 20-25 minutes when we get there. Usually rammed with locals.
All being well we'll be re-visiting Harry's Old Place in May. Mick
