Have you watched the Radford family’s YouTube vlog? they flew Tui into Melbourne and had a (I think) 15 seater van and a huge truck type thing! both parents were driving x

We've just had a HUGE headache with our car hire, which has taken MONTHS to sort. After paying for gold insurance, and having to move our holiday, the TUI rep back in Feb didn't move the insurance across on the booking. Left it to us, saying we should have checked.
We have been calling them ever since trying to get it sorted, we've been told numerous times it's been done but then 2 weeks ago, 28 days before departure it still wasn't showing up on our booking.

Chased it, had numerous phone calls, and only when I got our local Tui branch involved on Monday this week has someone actually taken hold of our complaint/query. It's all been sorted today, our gold insurance has been reinstated, with the local branch paying the difference, as in their words we've been dealt with shockingly by the online/phone team and no one dared take responsibility for their mistake.

So, it's gone from Tui bad, to tui instore staff very good.
