I’ll never use revolut again for hotels or cruises like that again.

Thanks for the Tr by the way was enjoyable read.
Thank you, lesson definitely learned! I had to transfer funds from my bank to top up my last few days!

Thanks for sharing. Doing Miami for the first time next month and resigned to the probability the airports are going to be chaos at either end and delays are inevitable. Will go with an open mind but I’m not sure Miami is going to be our scene, based on what I’ve read. How did you find getting around there? Were Ubers easy to find?
Big Pink is on or list too.
I’ve been to Florida quite a bit in the summer but not for several years and first time with the family. I think they may be in for a shock with the heat and afternoon storms.

Uber was very easy however when we were on south beach we had no WiFi to get an Uber back so flagged a yellow cab and it was triple the cost of the Uber.

Sounds like a great trip. My boys got stung with surge pricing the same night as you, although not quite as high. They were at the Arsenal chelsea game.

Thanks for posting your highs and lows.

I couldn’t believe the cost for the return journey!

Wow that 3 weeks went quickly! Never long enough is it? Sounds like you had a great trip, even with the grumpy teenager... aren't they just delightful critters? Mine are generally good but we will see in 2 weeks time!

Must admit we have flown into Miami a few times but never actually been to Miami itself, literally land, drive to hotel, sleep and leave lol.

How did you find the cost of groceries and eating out?

Best get planning the next one!

Thankyou for sharing.. and I really enjoyed reading it.

I always like to read reports that are honest and cover lows as well as highs.

It looked an awesome vacation and with plenty of great information.

We're here now and I really do think that eating out is expensive, probably not helped by the poor exchange rate. We are paying the same on this trip for 4 of us for a meal that we have paid for 6 of us on previous trips 😐
