We’re going soon for 16 days and just doing DC without the others. We just can’t squeeze those parks into our schedule and with our youngest being too short for the big rides at SW, we thought we’d give it a miss. If we were doing 21 days though, we’d probably have done the extra parks.

I would go for it. It sounds as though you will have time and have more options for a water park ‘rest day’. Seaworld is a great park and definitely worth a visit.

Good plan although Busch Gardens is definitely worth a visit.

We always buy Discovery Cove Ultimate non swims for four of us and this Easter (peak time) we got them for £640.
Busch Gardens is in any case my favourite park with its awesome Coasters and also, animals. Seaworld has some great Coasters and other than locker costs, Aquatica is our favourite water park.. provided you get there at opening and don’t use their extortionate lockers.
With this ticket, there is of course free parking and we get at least a couple of AQ, and a couple of SW plus Busch parking, so knock £100 of of that £650.

We always buy 14 day Universal if staying more than 9 or so days (we go to many other places besides Orlando on any vacation).. always at the start after a cheap Hotel on the first night, straight to a luxury on the second on the second for the Xpress passes and then pick up a hire car as we leave.. thus saving 3 days car hire and 3 days parking. We never then return before 1800.. when parking is once again .. free.

We haven’t purchased any Disney 14s on our last 6 visits, regarding it as a total and absolute rip off from entering the carpark till leaving.

It really is down to what you want out of an Orlando vacation (and I take note that you are there for 3 weeks).. or in our case, an Orlando stop over. For us, the DC ultimate non swim is by a mile, the best ticket in town. We have all done the Dolphins a few times, but find it too ‘controlled’ and ‘plastic’ an experience. $100 is not good value for 4x photographs of the experience.

I am very surprised at your DC price quotes and would be waiting for a sale.

Really depends if you like what those parks have to offer.

Also not sure when you are going but the tickets normally have great deals in the black Friday sale. We paid less than £130pp for non swim ultimates in the last black friday sale for this September. We were planning to do BG, SW, AQ anyway, and it was basically the same price in the sale to have discovery cove added.

We like the big rollercoasters and frill rides so BQ and SW tick those boxes for us. At £130pp for those tickets, and with parking including, it is a bargain for sure.

We love aquatica & seaworld, my kids are teenagers but there’s loads for them to do which doesn’t include big coasters (they love big coasters) and aquatica has a fab kids splash area.
Yes it’s with the dolphin swim

Going to look at deals in Black Friday too see if I can get it down in price.

I’d add the other parks.

You can dip in and out of Seaworld. Not sure what age your kids are but there are lots of animal things to see. My Ds is 14 and still loves feeding the stingrays and sea lions. The Sesame Street area looked well themed if they are young enough for that.

We did Seaworld and Busch Gardens, never bothered going to Aquatica. Again my Ds adored the coasters at Busch but also lots of the animals things.

The Animals and interactions at that age should be really good.

Seaworld.
Feeding the rays.
Feeding the Dolphins.

Busch.
The Giraffe feed on the ‘Serengeti’ from the back of a pick up truck is excellent.. really ‘Daktari’ stuff.
