Sure

We use the factor 30 family one. All use it, none have burnt. I do top up the kids if they have been in the water / beach but apart from that it really works.

Amazon have the huge 400ml bottle for £36 at the moment. And yes it’s expensive compared to others but you are using A LOT LESS!

I’ve used Ambre solaire dry mist for years and it’s the only thing I’ll use as otherwise I hate sticky sunscreen.

Although it’s been really hard to get hold of this year - Superdrug, boots, Tesco are all out of stock & I’ve ended up paying a fortune for it on Amazon 😢

Another fan of Ultrasun we also use the 30 family bottle - never burn and get a lovely tan.

How many people/days would the large bottle last for?

We bought Banana Boat Lighter than Air in the CVS across from our hotel. Couldn't find it here though

It depends on the size of the people!

We have only used half of the huge bottle on 2 adults and 2 children over the last 10 days.

Was this their first time applying themselves? I’d perhaps tell them that if they want to use “normal” sunscreen on their own, they should build up to it using a waterproof one (should appeal to them if swimming anyway) as it’s likely to be whiter until it’s fully rubbed in. It can help train them into applying it properly. Also show them studies that state water proof/resistant isn’t the same as towel resistant and they will need to top up.

Thanks for all of the suggestions, I’ve been out and bought a few of the supermarket ones and Asdas seems really good and not greasy at all.

It has a 5 star UVA rating but only says UVB tested but no star rating for UVB. Does anyone know what UVB tested means?

No UVB star ratings, the factor gives you the level of UVB protection
