Yes that CNBC interview just proves they don't miss a trick people hoping for discounts next year are going to be sorely disappointed and park reservations are here to stay.
Sounded to me that they are waiting to raise prices again because demand says they can

Riding the wave of huge post pandemic demand while they can and saving all the 'deals' and 'price cuts' (which will probably still be an increase overall) when they need something in their arsenal to fight against Epic Universe opening.

They know they need some major incentives in 2025, what do they have in the pipeline to compete with Universal? If they release annual passes / free dining / hotel deals etc. etc. in 2024 they know they'll have millions eating out of their hands.

Very good point.

I just wish that, at the same time, they could find more ways to show they still care about the details, like I know they used to. I.e. More regard for actual guest experience.

Attendance is up so more people spending more on the same stuff probably.
prices have gone up across the board and the theme parks are more efficient
Using less staff due to mobile ordering ect.
Stock is up so not good news for the disney theme park lovers among us as Dr evil is going nowhere!

O I guess we will see when the recession hits and it all comes tumbling down.
Hopefully Disney prices will too

The biggest impact has been the drop in the value of sterling from an average of $1.55 (2010-2015) to $1.20 since 2016. Until we get back to $1.50+ it’s always going to be an expensive holiday.
