Now I have seen it all

We are staying in a house on the Gulf Coast. Our neighbour has a dog, the yard is sandy (we back onto the beach).

Today a special service came out to clear the yard of poop, that's all they do, visit twice a week to poop scoop. Apparently it's $10 a visit.

I haven’t got any animals but I don’t think I could stand to have dog mess in my yard for days at a time.
No thank you!
I’d want them on stand by for every time my dog does their business.

Hey if you’ve got the money to pay someone to pick you dogs cacky up then go for it. Keeps the money flowing through the economy like poo through their dogs 🐶

I couldn’t be bothered. Takes me 2 mins every day. Max has a dog flap so I don’t know when he has been, but on the way back from a walk if I have spare bags in my pocket I just run round the garden. As he’s out twice a day there isn’t much in the garden.
They don’t really smell in the heat though, they just dry up, it’s the wet when they spread

Very common in the states. I watch quite a few dog trainers. Not that uncommon

That is bone idle and I bet it stinks to high heaven. I have two dogs. I just watch for when they do it and pick it up in a bag immediately. They are used to me standing there, bag in hand waiting for them to finish what they are doing. Our garden is literally always clear. I couldn't bear it otherwise.
