Sanaa "food to go"

We love the bread service at Sanaa (who doesn't?), but due to one party member being quite a fussy eater, it looks like we may need to knock it off our planned meals list. However, we are staying in AKL, and I am sure I read something a while ago about being able to get food to go from Sanaa, but I can't find it now - did I imagine it?

I was fantasising about ordering the bread service and eating on our balcony... is this an impossible dream?

You didn’t imagine it.

It’s in the my Disney experience app, if you look up the restaurant during opening hours the ‘mobile pick up’ option appears.

You select what you want, and your time window and pay. Then when your time arrives walk to the restaurant press the ‘I’m here’ button and they will bring your food out a few mins later.

Thank you, I'll be living the dream!

Don't knock it off your list! My FIL only eats plain, bland English food - think Sunday roast or a variation of that, and not much else. We took him to Sanaa and explained the situation. They grilled him a chicken breast and served it with plain steamed vegetables and they were happy to do so. We ask at every restaurant for plain chicken or well done steak with no sauces, and vegetables/sides to be served plain without any sauces and they always oblige. He is a DVC owner and they eat in Disney a lot and he doesn't have any issues asking for this.

Thank you for sharing this. We have Sanaa booked with a fussy eater so this is very useful information.
