We had a nightmare with Sun Transfers in May - didn’t turn up til over 2 hrs after landing - just as we were leaving in an Uber (which arrived within 10 mins).
I’m still trying to get my money back. 😢

*I’m sure there are many reliable transfer companies but I won’t use one again.

I never travel without all kinds of contingency plans in my head. “what if” is the worst phrase ever

I think after covid I’m unreasonably anxious about this trip - probably sounds daft, but since losing my mum I feel like the person who was my safety net has gone and I’m finding I need to work out all my options in my head ‘just in case’ - stupid really as even if mum was here she’d of been in England and wouldn’t of been able to help me! Lol! 🤦😂

Will do 😊

Yes we are staying one night at the Doubletree - with the extortionate car hire prices from the airport when we booked, we opted to collect the car the next day from the doubletree, so I decided to just book our first nights stay there too to make things easier 👍

As promised Dis, I’m back here updating!

So we had an Uber fail! Not with payment though, just because there were no Uber XL or Lyft available for our party size for over half an hour!

We were shattered and so jumped in a regular cab and paid $65 inc tip, whereas it looked like with the Uber price quote plus tip I’d of paid about $55. Decided getting straight there was worth the added expense - big spender that I am! 😂👍🏻

We will be car-less again nearing the end of the trip, so I will update again with the Uber experience 👍🏻

I would have done the same, $65 is still a lot less than I was quoted for a booked transfer. Have a great trip
