Here now - happy to answer questions about rides for ‘Pooh shaped’ people

So I am ‘Pooh sized’ and had a lot of anxiety pre trip about fitting on rides and even if the seat belt on aeroplane would fit ( it did - phew) . Happy to answer any questions. Have done a lot of Disney (still some to do) and not yet done Universal ( which is not so Pooh friendly)

I wear size 24 and am 5ft 8.
Headlines - have done Slinky Dog (very roomy and comfy). Aerosmith rock n roller coaster was fine (and comfortable) seven dwarves mine train was ok but uncomfortable due to zero leg room. Guardians of the galaxy- very roomy and comfortable and Best Ride Ever! Loved it. Feel free to ask questions- loads more done already x

Have you tried Kali River Rapids and the Avatar Flight of Passage?

Kali is fine - you can sit in your own if need be but I’ve not had to. Flight of passage is the only ride I won’t even try - my calfs are just too big at the mo x

I find Disney is very 'Pooh' friendly, the only ride that seems to cause issues is Flight of Passage. Everything else should be fine. Universal on the other hand..

Did Remys Ratatouille ride today! Lots of room and a great ride. Three per row (we’re a four so did two, two). Lap bar goes across all three riders .

Did ROR and found the ride door a bit narrow. Not great if you are pooh-shaped and 5 feet. Should be ok if you are taller

I’m 5 ft 8 and didn’t notice this so it must have been ok for my height. The door I really struggle with is on the tram to the parking lot. Is it just me? Always struggle with getting one leg past the other to get up or down the step and navigate the narrow door 🤣

Did universal today - couldn’t ride Gringotts - seat bar too tight over thighs. Couldn’t ride Hagrids motorbike adventures - no green light in motorcycle or side car and then no joy on forbidden journey either! Glad I tried - DS was insistent that the ride seats on gringotts are bigger than test seats but didn’t risk it. Never mind there’s always next time. Rides that were fine: Simpsons. Transformers. Fast and furious. ET (but bit uncomfortable) flight of hippogriff. Will post more after islands of adventure. Just a note to say I felt fine trying test seats and staff were helpful and friendly.
