Truly shocked by the service you receive, regardless who the fault lied with they should have rectified it right away with your paper work.

It sound like you coped a lot better than I would have, as by 2 hours I would have gone nuts.

So pleased that your day ended on a positive though and the meal was perfect.

At least the manager found a way to give you what you should have had in the end and the server in Saana helped make things better too. We love Saana too.
Have no idea who put what into the system, all I know is if Disney Uk are not available on the phone then you are up the creek.
Currently in Magic Band chaos land for this year as I managed to book some of those lovely new offerings for $10 a piece - only to now be looking at the 7 dwarfs saying that the system is down and they are onto it

Even internal parts of the Disney computer system don't even feed into MDE despite it actually showing on there.
For us that was a plus on this day as they had no idea.

Manager who dealt with us was did an Ok job, as a calm and reserved character, I am left to wonder what would have happened had we rightly "kicked off" - not my style but know many who would have.
Will update in future days as this was certainly not the end of it

As above , not my style, have watched my DM doing that as a kid and it sticks with you

At that particular moment 'The Magic' had gone and was going to take some effort to get back

Was so frustrating and the fact that no Disney system seems to be interlinked is something that needs addressing - I will gladly volunteer my services for that Disney job

Great meal in Saana and a server who is a rarity - she really took on board what had happened to day and added her take with a sprinkle of magic that she was able to offer.

It was one of those days that when you got to bed, you just hoped tomorrow would be better

I almost don’t want to comment as I’m sure you will never quite get over your less than welcome arrival to Disney A disgraceful start to your holiday.
I’m pleased you managed to have a nice evening in Saana.
I hope Disney tried to make amends other than the extra fastpasses

Won't give away the rest of the trip, but they were nudged a little and we did ask a few questions to get a resolution we were happy with.

Still never got an answer to the question about the WDTC UK being a travel agent or a true part of the Disney organisation.

As for not getting over the lack of welcome -we made it a mission of the whole trip to ensure we put it all aside, it would have spoilt so much had we kept nagging on about it and that would have been an even bigger issue
