August would be the quieter of the two options but will be much wetter than December.

It depends on whether you want a summer holiday or a Christmas Break

Summer may have free dining available which if it fits your plans can make a significant difference pricewise. With 3 weeks in December I would imagine the flights will be cheaper one the grounds that at least one flight will miss that peak.

Planning on visiting Disney?
The week between Christmas and New Year is always the busiest of the year.
Early December is much quieter

August in the parks are a moderate crowd level

I guess it depends on what would make it "best" for you and what you plan to do. August will probably have lower crowds, but December in Disney could make Christmas that extra bit special.

Remember galaxy's edge is opening the end of August, so just bare that in mind when booking cause it’ll be a lot busier than usual!

Christmas at Disney is one of their most busy times - doesn't MK normally shut around 11am because it's full to capacity?
