Hi all
I hope you can help. When I apply for a DAS (disability access service) card. What are the requirements, ie what paperwork do I need. Please 👍 |

You don't have to take anything from what I have read - you just need the person that you are applying for with you at the time you do it x

You don't need any paperwork, the US have very strict disability laws which means you don't have to show them anything. The person who requires the DAS would have to go to Guest Services in the park to get it, the CM's take a picture of you, and then they will add your party to the DAS pass. Your party cannot ride unless you are with them. We went to MK and got ours there.

People say you don't need any evidence but OH is taking some just in-case. I know they can't legally ask to see it but if you offer to show a doctors letter it shows you're not just 'trying it on'.

you can add up to 5 additional people to a single das pass so you may not need to get one for each of them unless they are likely to want to do different rides at different times.
They take a photo of the person the das pass is for and if you want to add other people to the pass they do need to be there as they scan your bands/park entry pass to link it to the das pass. |

I've always taken my disability card as paranoid that they will think I'm lying. They actually last time told me they weren't allowed to look at it so don't be surprised if they tell you that but I'm with you! I'd rather have it there just in case than not have it and feel under scrutiny. The CMs though are really nice in my experience! Just explain your needs and they will come up with a viable solution
