Firework events at Universal Studios?

Hi there,

Does anyone know of any firework displays at Universal Studios or Islands of Adventure?

I know there is a lake near the Simpson's area in Universal Studios, but does anything actually happen there?

Not fireworks but there is the Cinematic Celebration nighttime show if that helps 😊

There is the Harry Potter Light Show (short, on a par perhaps with the Tree of Life show at AK) at Islands of Adventure, then there is the Cinematic Celebration at Universal, which is the full 20-minute hydrotechnic show. It looks pretty good from what I've seen but keep a close eye on the showtimes - they are only published 1 week in advance and unlike Disney, the shows are not on every day - they were not showing for almost the entire duration of our trip.

I've done 3 trips and they have never done any shows in the time I've been there, they are just very selective when they do them and you have to be very lucky to catch them

That's because the park is closing early tomorrow (6pm) and it would still be light. When this happens it is normally for a special event where the park has a different ticketted event (School graduations, HHN etc)
