Morning, look whos awake after so long!

Well HELLO again dibbers

So a couple of weeks ago we have booked to go back to Florida in 2020 after our fabulous holiday in 2014. I had a great time interacting with dibbers that helped me plan the most fantastic holiday ever. After keeping it to European holidays for the last 5 years we decided to give it another shot now the kids are a bit older.

This time round we wont be doing Disney parks as we loved them last time but my boys who
will 16 and 12 next year are adrenaline junkies and want to do universal and sea world this time round.

We do want to do Magic kingdom, Epcot and Hollywood studios again but I cant justify spending 1796 to do 3 days in them parks. I wish Disney did a 3 day or 3 park ticket.

Not doing Disney this time around means we can enjoy more of what Orlando and the wider Florida has to offer.

Discovery cove is on list to visit again as this was the real highlight of the holiday. From reading posts it looks like waiting for the blue Friday sale around Black Friday week will be the best time to book this.

Ill give a list of what we did last time and what we are planning to do this time.

2014 we did
Magic kingdom
Epcot
Hollywood studio
Animal kingdom
Universal studios
Island of adventure
Sea world
Discovery cove
Aquatica
Wet n wild
Typhoon lagoon
Pirate dinner show
Clear water beach day visit

2020 we will be doing
Universal studios
Island of adventure
Bush Gardens
SeaWorld
Discover cove
Aquatica
Volcano bay
Kennedy space centre

We have a year to plan our holiday in detail but the planning really begins now!

I dont want to make this a Thomas cook related post but o hoping that my holiday booking remains safe over the next year and a bit.

Kind regards

R

You know you can buy 3 day tickets. Orlando attractions sells them or Disney US site. Though at the moment an adult ticket is 359 on Orlando Attractions, because of the lousy exchange rate. You just need to go to Disney 1-10 Day Tickets. You do however have to put the dates of use in as the price does vary. Still youve got plenty of time for the exchange rate to go up🙏

Sounds like a fun holiday! I didnt realise Wet n Wild had closed so recently. I loved it there when I went in 88, but I assumed it had closed a good 10 years ago. Im sure my girls will enjoy all the water parks that werent there back when I was a child, anyway.
