Being at the airport this morning has made this trip even more real (if that is possible) by knowing that we will be back here Friday. Well I will be back here Thursday when landing back... but on holiday on the Friday!

Well here it is... currently on train to Hamburg airport. In just a few hours I will be back at MAN airport... heading home to start our holiday.
A year in the planning and we will be on our way back to Manchester airport tomorrow afternoon. Wow! Edited at 06:23 PM. |

Thank you both... had a bit of a panic with plane being delayed from hamburg back to Manchester this evening due to technical fault... was waiting for cancellation then having to find an alternative to get home!
Anyhow boarding soon so will be home to start the holiday! DS is gonna love it... so excited now! |

Oh no! Hope that everything runs smoothly today. Cannot wait to read all about it.
I was talking to a colleague yesterday who takes his kids home to Australia and he suggested that there is nothing wrong with a dose of calpol for the kids to take the edge off nerves (followed by a glass of wine for you!). Just a suggestion... |
