I forgot until part-way through our 12-night stay in the same hotel on our recent trip so put it all in an envelope and gave it to the receptionist with instructions written on to share it between the housekeeping team. That seemed the fairest thing to do and it was a small family-run hotel so I'm sure my instructions would have been followed.
