Fp when at Disney hotel- but not the whole stay

If I book a Disney hotel from e.g. 1-3 June, but want to book a FP for 25 June (hypothetically)- can I do this, or will my window revert to 30 days from 3 June? Not trying to game the system- we are genuinely staying in Disney because we want to, but for personal reasons during the year, can't afford it for the whole trip nor can we afford Ultimates- so just getting 2 x 1 day tickets; one for start of trip and one for the end of the trip.

You used to be able to due to a system glitch, Disney eventually sorted this out, and it changed at end of February. The 60 day window now only is available during your onsite stay, from check in day to check out day, any other days are at 30days

Can confirm that that it will revert back to the 30 days even with a a sandwich stay with disney at either end.
