Fastpass booking day getting nearer and stressing me more

Our fastpass booking day is next month and I really haven't got far in firming up our bookings.

We have a plan for what park on what day, would you get all the fastpasses done first thing in the morning or would you spread them out during the day?

When we went in 2016 we did them all first thing thinking that we could book others for after that but over the two weeks all the fastpasses that were available on the day were after 6/7 in the evening. In the whole two weeks we never got fourth fastpasses on any day.

It was so much easier when you just walked up to the machine and got the time you were given.

Most people will say do them from 10 ish onwards, the first hour or so of the park opening is the quietest time so there's no point getting them then and if you spread them to far you are tying yourself into the park all day. Whatever times you can get after 10 i think really, and if you get them back to back try to avoid zig-zagging back and forth over the parks if you can.

I haven't had chance to try it myself yet but everyone says the best way to get the 4th fastpass is pick up anything and then keep trying to modify it . . sure someone will confirm

We normally start them about 11ish and get them as close together as possible as that will allow you to get others as you become elgible.

Dont stress too much you can change them as you and even if you dont do one it does not matter.

i'd say get some of the more popular rides booked in first and then after that don't worry too much as you can always jiggle FP's around on the day

I'd say try to get your three fast passes out of the way early so you can start looking for more on the day.

Get them as soon as possible in the day, but don't waste them on very early times. Once you've used them up you can get a 4th and then a 5th later on. This strategy worked for us in Toy Story Land last year. Our 3rd Fast Pass was for Slinky around 2pm and we then managed to get both TSM and then Alien Swirling Saucers as 4th and 5th. You can keep refreshing the options and something comes up earlier and earlier.
But don't stress if you don't get exactly what you want.

Just passed our 60 day window and can totally relate to the stress level.

As others have said we also aim for 1st pass at around 10amish.

Best tip I’ve picked up is when you start booking start with your last day first and work backwards to your first day. This way you have the best chances to bag to more popular rides.

At least they move the time the FP window opens up. I remember doing the 4am wake up call a few years back so the kids could ride SDMT 😳

I’ve booked mine today in a sneaky half hour!
I’m really pleased- got 3 FOP and 2 slinky dogs FPS!
Also booked TOT due to the limited capacity it has as it’s our favourite- it was noticeably more difficult to get a fp!

We always hit the pool/hotel 2pm ish... so we book in 3 consecutive FP+ from about 930-1030 (use the end of the hour slot) 1030-1130 (use start of the slot) then 1130-1230 (wherever the slot works) then we work around those ideals.

So for instance we may go to Frontierland first, do Peter Pan, then SDMT then space Mountain. I do believe it is important to plan where you want to go first in the park (no FP needed here) then plan an approx route around the park to determine the next FP!

No point in doing BTM then Space mountain then Haunted Mansion as you will be running all over!
