I’ve charged up my car there a couple of times during the pandemic and ‘surreal’ is definitely an appropriate word for the reasons you describe. Zombies coming out of the hotel towards us wouldn’t have seemed out of place.

Sorry about the delayed response.

I've booked the package direct with the hotel, the car stays in their car park for the duration. In terms of handing over of keys to the hotel - I'm not sure, the booking said that the hotel may request that you leave the keys with them.

I used the Hilton Garden Inn at T2/3 in September (using Hiton Honors) for a T3 departure having arrived at T5 previous day. Very convenient for both T3 and T5.
