Can I just thank Joshie again for starting such a warm-hearted thread and for all your lovely posts since.

Probably not logging on as much now that we're here again but just a couple of interesting bits of info.

The flight, as usual, was looooong but near enough on time. The cabin crew did repeat an announcement that US Immigration may ask to see paper copies of the NHS vax and negative test. We weren't. We were also given the old customs form which we haven't seen in 5 years. No idea why but we filled them in but weren't asked for them.

Immigration hall literally empty and through in 10 minutes . Then 45 minutes for carousel to start

VTP collection easy but we did change our minds about garage. Joan stayed near the Christmas tree and I went to collect the tag, came back and went via B as usual. About 20 options in full size car row. Usual Toyota Camrays and Chevy Malibus. A couple of basic SUVs and one FS150 truck. No evidence really of recent supply choice issues.

Breakfast at IHOP Berry Town Center. Bad news for regulars - post-Covid no choice of 4 syrup dispensers. Ordinary syrup in a sachet.

Finally. Magic 107.7 - continuous Christmas music. On 16 Nov really

Glad you have had a great journey over Mick, we did our covid tests earlier today and they came back as we wanted negative so off to Manchester tomorrow to stay over night before our flight on Friday.
