Well that is two hours of my life I will never get back.
What a weird film. Not sure how close to the actual truth it is but dear god, I really felt for those kids.

I haven’t seen it however with regards to ‘the kids’ I do agree. All of the Princes’ traumas seem to be pinned on their mother dying but the horrific marriage and subsequent divorce of their parents did not do them any good mentally either.

The time span of the film is based over a particular Christmas in Sandringham when Diana knew of Charles’ relationship with Camilla. I don’t know how the actual events unfolded in real life but if the film is in any way similar then it must have been horrific for those kids. Diana had dreadful MH problems and everyone around her was worried about her erratic behaviour yet Charles just seemed to distance himself from her. The poor boys could see how she was acting, it was just horrible.

Saw it today. As it calls itself a fable I believe it is very much a fictionalized account of events. A very good performance by Kristen Stewart but the film didn't really do a lot for me. We all know by now the bare bones of that relationship and family dynamic and I didn't think this added anything really.

I would totally agree. It didn’t do much for me either.
