Hope everyone managed to survive the storm last night without too much damage, although I realize we will probably have a few dibbers missing due to power cuts.

We certainly missed the worst of it although we had some wind and rain in the night. This is my view right now, but I don't think it's going to last.

Very calm and sunny in Ipswich and didn't notice anything overnight apart from a bit of rain.

Rather cold though!

I’m in north Herts and saw some snow this morning before we left the house but yeah mostly wet!

Reallt bad here in North East! Luckily we not have much damage (table cover nowhere to be seen) but I know quite a few people where roof tiles have gone through car/conservatory 😭 its so scary. And mams lost her fence!

Loads of trees down on our estate making it difficult to go anywhere - we have a limited number of roads to use and they are all blocked so its a challenge to say the least. The Metro systemfor Sunderland and Newcastle is completely off and a lot of trains cancelled. So all in all not very good this morning and now we have snow showers.

I've only been as far as the bird table and the dustbin and it wasn't as cold as I expected.

The blue sky I posted has gone now.

I’m in Edinburgh for the weekend and we had severe weather warnings. Luckily it was just a bit windy and it’s beautiful this morning
