My mother in law made my daughters skirt. The net has spiders on it. We had such a fab night.

We went a couple of years ago. Our two kids bought halloween tee shirts in walmart a few days before and were quite happy with that. Neither of the adults did anything at all because we're not "fancy dress" people.

Although there were a lot of people in costume, there were also a lot who had put in the same or less effort than us. We didn't feel out of place or uncomfortable or anything.

So, when we went again the next year, we did the same. And again, it was fine.

We had a great time both times. Collected loads of candy, had great fun on the attractions and saw lots of people in amazing fancy dress. Wouldn't change anything!

Whatever you wear, ... enjoy!

We were the parks for the day so we transferred across to MK around 3.30 and dived into toilets to change into matching t shirts which we wore with the (dark)shorts we’d worn in the parks that day. 3 t shirts was not an issue to carry and we felt like we’d made appropriate effort. We really enjoyed seeing the costumes and lengths some had gone to, but it was still too hot and humid even at midnight for us to want to don anything heavier / thicker than a t shirt!

The T-shirt was bought in Disney world years ago but I made the tutu. Really easy to make.
