Back To The Magic #3 Day 10

A return visit to A K today. We rode Everest twice before movingly to Dinoland. Ds11 was a bit freaked by the dinosaur ride! But rode primeval whirl twice and triceratops - yay!

This is a fantastic use of a snack credit! In candy shops where they make things ie Goofys pantry in DTD . You chose your base - pretzel stick, marshmallow straw or mickey crispy treat. Then chose your chocolate dip - plain, milk or white. Then your topping - Reece's pieces, m&ms etc then finally you drizzle.

Festival of the lion king is a must of course

(No food photo, it wasn't worth taking one! )
We went for lunch at Coronado Springs Resort - I had put several resort restaurants and CS options in our plan as a way to sample different options and as a family was love Mexican so assumed this would be a really good option.

In short, don't bother! The food took so long and as we had chosen different options we all ate at different times! The drinks are waiter service and our waiter got them wrong twice! Ah well, been there, done that, won't go again!

We spent another couple of hours at a water park before heading out to the Hoop De Doo Musical Review at Wilderness Campground. We went early and had a big walk around admiring the 5th wheelers and motor homes ( caravaners that we are! ) this looks like a really different Disney experience and I hope DH and I return during our retirement road trip ; )

I booked the hddmr as an experience event as we were on ddp - it took 8 credits and I have to admit I was a little 'concerned', I know it gets rave reviews and people return time and time again but 8 credits!

Anyhoo, I needn't have worried as it was fabulous 😃. I booked the 8.30 show as this gave u tier 1 seating on the ddp and we were slap bang up against the stage! However the production is very cleve and goes on around you so I shouldn't think there is a bad seat in the house.

Cornbread

Salad

Sangria - bottomless!

And rootin' tootin' good family fun 😃

The birthday song

At the end of the night there are resort buses organised to take you home - remember those bottomless drinks, don't want to drive to this one 😉. If you are on PP+ then you get a printed photo package so remember to take your lanyard .

We had a fabulous time , DS11 particularly enjoyed the show so though I would struggle to pay $276 oop I think it was a good use of ddp.

Great day, shame about CSR food. Did you enjoy the Hoop De Doo?
