Can you add the Dining plan separately.
Hi All
Can you add Dining for Disney if you have already booked and buy it separately? Thanks |

I think it can depend on who you have booked through, shouldn't be an issue with Disney direct (up until a certain point before, not sure if its 48 hours or longer) and you probably should be able to with others but not sure what prices they can charge

As above direct with Disney is easy, from stuff I have heard other company's charge crazy prices to add it on.

If you are going to have to pay for it, it might be worth working out if it’s good value for you (assuming you haven’t already). Distripplanner has a good calculator to work out the approximate costs of your dining plans.

You still need to buy park tickets to add dining plan even if you pay for it so it all depends on whether you’ve done that/are prepared to do that and whether whoever you booked with is happy for you to do it.
I notice you have a really long countdown so I’m assuming your trip is 2021? If so you may have qualified for free dining should it be offered in April. It would be helpful to know what you’ve booked and who with to give a better answer. |

We have booked with ocean florida and yes it's 2021.
We have booked park tickets as well. Obviously no free dining yet as it's not available assuming it will still be added. I haven't priced it as can't find any prices for it. |

If Ocean Florida have said they will add free dining if it’s offered and the hotel you have booked qualifies for it them you will be fine. If they won’t honour any offer you should still be able to add it since you have booked park tickets too however it’s all down to what Ocean Florida will allow you to do. They should honour any offers that may or may not be released in April. You shouldn’t be penalised for booking early.
This is all assuming your hotel is a Disney one. |

They said if it was available they should be able to add it for us, they did say that you now have to rebook as Disney have stopped allowing it just to be added afterwards, virgin told us the same.
Yes it is a Disney hotel. |

If you have to rebook will you lose the deposit on your current booking or will they let you cancel and then carry the deposit onto the new booking?
