Hi Sarah. This is no trouble at all. Discovery Cove have a high number of people who are poor swimmers (including my boys). There are plentiful supplies of "life vests" which act as very good "corks" and there is NO WAY she will sink wearing one of these.

as Zoe said you can get life jackets whch makes them bouyant. The life guards are in the water with you and all around watching, just tell them about the kids and they will be fine.

My ds 6 cant swim and did it without a life vest,...mind you he couldnt hold on to the dolphin's fin very well and went under(we thought the dolphin would save him, but the life gaurd did... dolphin swam off lol)
Dont let this put you off, we all(including ds who says he drowned with doplphins)enjoyed the day.

My DS has special needs, but really had his heart set on the dolphin swim, so I emailed DC with my concerns about his abilities in the water and got a lovely reply. They will supply a life vest and also another trainer as a 'buddy' in the water if needed. If the deep water is a problem there is the option to have her interaction in the shallow area. They will do all they can to help your DD if you tell them about her needs, but it may be worth contacting them in advance. I used the contact link on the website and got prompt replies every time.
