Universal in Spain
Dibbers,
Right, i know you lot can help. Going to take Lauren to Universal Studios in Spain next year for her first taste of Universal. I dont want to take her to Florida just yet as she will only be 18 months old and wont really know what is going on. So i have decided im going to book up at the Universal in Spain, but i was wondering has anyone been, is it good, would a 18 month old enjoy it and does anyone have any info on it or how to book as im not having much joy on the net lol Speak soon Doody |

I went a few years back when it was just plain 'Porta Adventure'. Im not sure if Universal was involved then.
I said at the time that barr Orlando or Disneyland it is the best theme park I have been too. And you have the weather too. Lovely settings. |

Thanks james,
We really want to be able to relax aswell, cause the little one might need some chill out time along with us. So i will wait and see what the general feedback is and take it from there? Cheers Doody |

We stayed right next to it in Salou and that has a lovely beach and a big park if i remember correctly. Loads of places to chill. How long you planning on going for and what month - any idea yet? |

We went with First Choice and had a lovely time at the El Paso which is one of the Universal Hotels. 100 yds from the entrance with creche etc.
Just done a quick search for 1 week in June coming up at around £1050 for the 2 of you Half Board with baby free. Depends when you want to go really and how long for. Kath x

Our son had just turned 2 years old when we first went.
There was certainly enough to keep him occupied. |

Yes its a good combination of beach/theme park holiday.
If I were you, I'd go for September (if you're not tied to school holidays) due to less crowds in the theme park and resort itself. |

Yeah September its and Loulabelle has just hit it on the head of what i dont want it to be Alton Towers but hot. I mean i know its going to be nothing on par with Universal in Florida, but would you know that Universal owned it or are they more of a partner.
For example are there plenty of themed Universal things, are there Universal Charaters there, Does it have the big Universal globe within the park, silly things like that is what im looking for lol Cheers Doody |
